Easy To Make Christmas Decorations

You can string just about anything to make garlands. You may want to use dried fruit such as orange slices that have been dried in a low temperature oven, dried cranberries, popcorn, pieces of colored paper - anything that can be threaded together using a needle and sturdy twine.

Children love to make paper chains Paper Chains! You can buy ready made cut strips of paper that have been gummed on one time or cut your own strips and fix them with tape.

Use ribbon to make bows. Red bows on trees and ledges always look festive and increasingly metallic ribbons are being used at Christmas which introdcue the gold and silver tones.

These decorations need not be expensive. The whole idea is to make it a fun activity that the family can work on together and build up the anticipation for Christmas.
